Down in a rut and out of lacking creativity, infatuation develops after a fan-signing for Love Metronome and Aki becomes the estranged 'assistant' of one of his schools top idols. It has been fun watching the Blessing Software team and I will always remember this series. Spin-off of the SaeKano novel series focusing on the unlikely relationship between famed author Kasumigaoka Utaha and average otaku Aki Tomoya. Overall, the movie is great! I am super glad that they stuck the landing. It's weird because Megumi and Eriri do but Utaha doesn't, which is kind of jarring. My one personal issue is that Utaha doesn't get that one to one resolution with Tomoya. Due to the plot having more focus on the romanctic development, the game development process is brushed over quickly which might not be to everyone's liking. The post credit scene is also incredibly wild! The limited runtime of a movie does result in some issues such as some characters, Michiru and Izumi, having minimal screen time and relevance to the plot. The animation and art were fantastic, the music was great and the story was simple yet engaging. I think the movie definitely delivers on providing a satisfying finale while wrapping up the romance aspect. It's charming because of that hook of 'the otaku protagonist with the most moe heroine options imaginable is obsessed with making a boring girl into that type INSTEAD of trying for the the other girls'. I really loved the first two seasons and was hoping for a 3rd season but instead they decided to just wrap it up in a movie format. I think I understand now why the anime is called 'How to raise a boring girlfriend.' This was the part that stuck out to me the most. It’s worth noting that the top four vote earners are all from anime that have recently been trending leading up to the poll. 9) Yui Hirasawa K-ON 10) Hanayo Koizumi Love Live School Idol Project. A nice, short show with a good story and music.Saekano was one of the few harem shows that was actually interesting and well executed. 6) Chiyo Sakura Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun. Not just as of being a indie project, it generally does a great job. ![]() The music was pretty good! I really liked it. Which is my most favourite thing about this show! As I said earlier the gorgeous background arts add live to it's world! But, also the characters and different creatures of this world keep you eagerly waiting to know more about it! The creator did a magnificent job there! ![]() The anime does a great job in it's worldbuilding. So, it's very nice to see them using the animation efficiently! The last two episodes which is basically the climax of the show the animation is at it's absolute best! (Keeping the budget in mind of course) ![]() Which is a very good thing! It's a indie project so of course they had a limited quote-unquote budget. Written by MAL RewriteBritannica Dictionary definition of HEROINE. not really surprising though! The name Wit Studio, that's enough! One of the reasons that I watched this anime was definitely because of the background arts! The art really helps the anime in it's worldbuilding! Which I will talk about in a minute.Ībout the animation, I'd say it's efficient. Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata (or Saekano) is a light novel series written by Maruto. ![]() If I need to say only one word about the art then it is - Gorgeous! But, in this case both the characteristics and the designs are very distinctive! So, the emotions the they convey feels very natural and understandable! Really liked it! The characters are pretty cool too! One main problem with these indie animes is that all the characters seem to be kind of the same! So, it becomes very hard to follow them or their path. To be honest there isn't much to say about the story.
